The large diode laser paddles of the LAPEX Lipolaser are placed on the fatty areas to help melt away the fat. The science behind this lipolaser lies in its ability to stimulate the release of triglycerides from the targeted fat cells. This process - the release of water, free fatty acids, and glycerol, from the adipose cells - is not only natural, it is essential for the human body to function. This is the next generation laser with a patent to be able to place the diode lasers directly on the skin to provide deeper penetration and better results.   1. A measurement is taken prior to treatment and then two large diode laser paddles are placed on the targeted fatty areas and secured with straps.
  2. Two smaller probes lasers are placed over the appropriate lymphatic glands and held in place.
  3. The LAPEX Lipolaser will then be switched on for 10 minutes, then re-located for another 10 minutes and repeated until all the spot fatty areas have been treated, usually in 40 minutes.
  4. The treated area will be re-measured to assess the inch-loss achieved. You can expect to see a reduction of between 0.5 cm to 2.5 cm per treatment depending on the density of sub-cutaneous fat of the treated area. Treatments are recommended as a package.
  5. In order to increase the body's ability to remove the triglycerides, (the broken down fat cells) it is necessary to assist this natural process by increasing the metabolic rate. This can be achieved in a number of ways but they all involve some form of exercise. The use of a whole body vibration plate machine for about 10 minutes is effective right after the treatment.
